If funding via angel investment and venture capital is like slicing up your company's turkey, non-dilutive capital sources are like wonderful guests who show up bringing their own side dishes! Not enough as an entrée but an important part of the complete meal.
This seminar will focus on one of the most attractive topics in company formation—sources of non-dilutive funding. These funding sources bring much-needed cash into an organization but do not require the sale of equity, meaning you ownthe same amount of your company both before and after receiving funds. Certain types of non-dilutive funding (like SBIR/STTR) can be used effectively as start-up capital before your business truly ramps up.
Topics to be discussed include venture lending, financing your receivables, and different types of grants available for technology based businesses.
Speakers include leading bankers from Rt.128 and professionals who understand the government grant process.
The seminar will be followed by cocktails and networking from 5:00-7:00pm at Ballard's in downtown Durham courtesy of seminar sponsors Devine Millimet, Pierce Atwood, Ropes & Gray, and Salient Surgical Technologies.
